AGM

Engineers Ireland’s 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at 5:30pm on Thursday, 29 May 2025, following the conclusion of Engineers Ireland’s National Conference. 

Members are invited to attend the AGM in-person at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny, R95 F685. Members who wish to attend the AGM are encouraged to register their attendance.

Under the theme 'Engineering for Tomorrow', this conference will showcase cutting-edge engineering solutions addressing Ireland’s most pressing challenges.

The agenda of the meeting is to be confirmed.

Room rate 

We have negotiated a special discounted nightly room rate for Lyrath Estate Hotel for the night before and the night of the Engineers Ireland’s National Conference and AGM. Single rooms are priced at €210 (B&B) and double rooms at €225 (B&B) per night.

Submit your questions

In order to manage the business of the AGM and facilitate member participation in an orderly manner, members who wish to submit a question in relation to the business of the AGM are encouraged to email their question via email to directorgeneral@engineersireland.ie no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 27 May 2025. 

Please put AGM Question in the subject line. We will endeavour to answer as many of these questions as possible during the meeting, in addition to any questions raised by those in attendance at Clyde Road on the evening. Please note that there will be no online voting facility at the AGM. 

Attendance at the AGM counts towards one hour of CPD.
