Eaton's new Xiria NGX MV switchgear is maximised for a long, cost-efficient service life – as well as meeting the highest safety standards.
No compromise, high-quality NGX components, combined with low maintenance requirements, mean asset owners can be assured of minimised total cost of ownership (TCO) over a product lifetime of more than 40 years. For example, its maintenance-free vacuum interrupters are certified for up to 30,000 operation cycles and can withstand as many as 100 short-circuit interruptions.
IEC-certified by KEMA laboratories, simple-to-operate Xiria NGX has been designed with an equal focus on safety, as well as cost efficiency. The system has been thoroughly arc fault-tested according to the latest standard IEC 62271-200 and complies with the highest classifications for safety and uptime, IAC AFLR and LSC2 respectively.
All Xiria NGX processes comply with DIN EN 9001, the system also featuring auto-reclose switching (OCO mechanism) that automatically re-closes itself after detecting a fault in the power system.
