TOBIN Consulting Engineers are pleased to announce that Ciaran McGovern has been appointed as its new managing director, the fifth person to hold this role since the company was founded in 1952.

McGovern succeeds Robert Tobin, who completed his 10-year term as managing director at the end of December 2019. He will continue as an executive director supporting the growth and development of the business both in Ireland and the UK.

McGovern joined TOBIN in 2000, its Executive team in 2011 and its board of directors in 2014. He has held a number of positions within the multidisciplinary business including that of operations director for six years and as commercial director for the past three years.

With more than 25 years’ experience McGovern will provide leadership in the delivery of the firm's new strategic plan (2020 to 2023), which will bring new opportunities for growth, development of its people and in partnership across the sectors within which it operates.

As a fully owned and operated Irish business, this appointment heralds a very exciting time for TOBIN Consulting Engineers in continuing to develop its portfolio of work in Ireland and the UK.
