No special wiring is required

In the event of an arc fault, this system ensures an immediate and accelerated shutdown. The disconnection is even faster than that effected by a non-delayed short-circuit release. This feature can either be activated directly at the circuit breaker or via an external switch, for example when maintenance personnel enter a hazardous area. No special wiring is required.
