Engineers Europe General Assembly

Welcome to Ireland!

The workshops for the Engineers Europe General Assembly will take place in Engineers Ireland, Dublin on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 May 2024. The meetings will comprise of:

  • National Members Forum, 30 May 2024 from 09.00 - 16.00 hrs
  • General Assembly, 31 May 2024 from 10.00 - 16.00 hrs

For those lucky enough to spend a few days in Dublin before or after the General Assembly there are plenty of activities to experience and sights to see. Further information about Dublin is available here.

Meeting location

The meetings will be held at the Engineers Ireland headquarters in Dublin.

The meeting location is about 2km from the city centre and 15km from Dublin airport. A taxi will cost €25-30 depending on the time of day. There is an airport bus service that serves major hotels and will leave you within a short walk of the hotels (below) and our offices.

Please note, the weekend of 1 - 3 June is a holiday weekend (Monday 3 is a Bank Holiday). It is advisable to book rooms early.

Meeting registration and social events

A number of social gatherings will take place for attendees of the General Assembly. 

  • A social event will be held on the evening of Thursday 30 May at the Mespil Hotel at 18:30 - free to attend.
  • A Gala dinner will be held on the evening of Friday 31 May – location depends on number of attendees - cost €50.
