On 4 March, Engineers across the globe mark World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, the third annual UNESCO international day which highlights the achievements of engineers and engineering in our modern world and aims to improve public understanding of how engineering and technology is central to sustainable development.
Engineers Ireland will mark World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development by launching our Sustainability Plan 2022-2023. This Plan consists of 20 sustainability actions aligned with Engineers Ireland’s core objectives in a Learn-Live-Lead-Link framework. The launch will be followed by a panel discussion on engineering and sustainability. The event will be open to the public and will be recorded.
