NSAI and Engineers Ireland have put in place a €25,000 fund to encourage Engineers Ireland’s members to find out more about standardisation and to see how they can get involved. The Standard Travel Fund will provide our members with an opportunity to attend one international meeting where your costs are covered.
The fund will support expenses incurred by engineers, such as flights, accommodation, public transport, airport costs and meals, when attending international technical committee standardisation meetings. The fund can be used for attending standardisation meetings carried out by one of the following standardisation bodies:
Members who would like to apply for support from this fund must first register their interest by completing an application form and emailing it to finance@engineersireland.ie. Members are required to make their application in advance of travel and to allow for adequate time for the application to be approved.
