Engineers Ireland is delighted to announce that Derek Murtagh, Engineering Centre of Excellence Lead at MSD Ireland, was named as the recipient of the Engineers Ireland MEETA (Maintenance, Energy and Environment Technology Association) Asset Management Award sponsored by ESS Group, last night at the awards ceremony at the Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin.
The event, which also marked the 40th anniversary of Engineers Ireland’s MEETA Asset Management Society, annually presents awards across a number of categories that highlight outstanding contributions to advancing maintenance, reliability in engineering and asset management practices across industries in Ireland.
The winning project, titled ‘Remote Predictive Hub For MSD Ireland & Worldwide’, highlights the ongoing growth and impact of the centralised predictive maintenance (PdM) HUB utilised by MSD Ireland and their counterparts worldwide. MSD Ireland’s innovative approach has set a benchmark for excellence in maintenance management, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability.
