The MSc in Sustainable Transport & Mobility at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) is a part-time, two-year postgraduate programme, delivered jointly at the TU Dublin School of Architecture, Building and Environment (SABE) and the School of Transport and Civil Engineering (STCE). 

Active travel, behavioural change and sustainable mobility are key themes of the programme, which seeks to prepare and equip graduates to take active and leadership roles in the transition towards a sustainable mobility future. 

The programme includes a summer school, an international field trip option, opportunities for individual research and new content in planning and design for active travel.

The programme is approved, by the Professional Standards Committee of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation and the Transport Planning Society, as meeting the educational requirements for the Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP) qualification. The programme has been running successfully since 2019 and has received positive feedback from current students and recent graduates alike.

Lectures take place in a blended format, to suit working professionals, with a mixture of online and face-to-face delivery. Sessions are predominantly during afternoons and evenings, with some modules delivered in block format.

The next intake will be in January 2025.  Applications can be made until November 30, 2024.
