Engineers working in the renewables sector have been invited by the British Embassy in Dublin and the British Irish Chamber of Commerce to attend a two-day UK and Ireland offshore and wind energy event online from December 10-11, 2020.

The Zoom event will be held from 9.30-11.30 on each of the two days.

"As neighbours, we have identified the potential of offshore wind to meet ambitious renewable energy targets on the path to net zero by 2050," the chamber said.

In the lead-up to the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow next year, this programme brings together government, business and academia to showcase expertise and identify opportunities.
