Heating technology manufacturer Grant is renowned for its award-winning Vortex condensing oil boilers and highly efficient Aerona³ R32 air source heat pumps, and it continues to lead the market with its expanding portfolio. This includes pre-plumbed hot water cylinders and modern heat emitters which, when combined effectively, can take the efficiency of a property to a new level and provide greater long-term savings.
Free of charge heating design service
It is this combination of technologies that the Grant technical team offer free of charge as part of its design service which calculates and correctly sizes each product specifically for the individual property.
The service enables those involved in building new properties or deep retrofitting to save time and hassle as Grant can also quote and supply the required heating products.
Barry Gorman, Grant technical team, said: “Our design service is proving very popular and the feedback we are getting from those involved in new build and retrofit projects is that it is saving them time and provides peace of mind from knowing that the heating system has been sized correctly by a team of professionals and optimised for maximum efficiency.”
Recently received a Which? Best Buy for the third year running
In addition to selecting the best heat source for the property whether that be a Grant Vortex condensing oil boiler, which recently received a Which? Best Buy for its Vortex Pro Utility range for the third consecutive year, or a Grant Aerona³ R32 heat pump which can help a new build property achieve Part L compliance required under building regulations, there are additional complementary products available which the Grant team will outline to customers as part of their multiple package solutions offering.
Supporting technologies include high-performance hot water cylinders which can operate with one or more heat source like an oil boiler or renewable product to support the system’s overall efficiency. Grant’s pre-plumbed cylinders are designed to heat water faster and more efficiently than standard cylinders.
All pre-plumbed and pre-wired features are conveniently located to ensure quick and easy installation and because they operate effectively with Grant oil boilers and renewable products this gives further reassurance from knowing that each product is designed to partner with one another and additional package components.
Once the heat source and cylinder are selected, a choice of heat emitters is put forward to suit both the property and heat source needs while taking into consideration their design and placement throughout the property to support the overall design and architecture of the space.
This may include Grant Uflex underfloor heating, which works with oil boilers and renewable technologies alike, offering the advantage of being an unobtrusive heating system – lying under the floor.
Complementing the look of a room, the Grant Afinia aluminum radiators are compatible with high and low temperature systems.
Choosing complementary heat emitters
They have excellent conductivity and, with vertical and horizontal combinations available, deliver flexibility with installations and are available from six to 20 panels as either standard or vertical radiators.
For a minimalist look, Grant’s Solo fan convectors comprise of three models and are slim in design and compact, with no need for wall thermostats or thermostatic radiator valves.
They deliver faster rates of convection than traditional radiators and are suitable for areas of a property which may prove harder to heat such as larger rooms with high ceilings.
