For more than 40 years Grant has led the way in the development of innovative heating technologies which deliver the most efficient heating systems for property owners. The company prides itself on providing reliable technologies which enable those upgrading a heating system or building new properties to have a one-stop solution when it comes to heating design and technologies.

Portfolio of heating products

This commitment to its customers is demonstrated by the wide portfolio of heating products that Grant has developed which includes main heat sources that drive the heating system, heat emitters to heat individual rooms within a property, complementary technologies to support the main heating system and smart heating controls, all of which work together effectively to achieve maximum levels of efficiencies and meet all heating requirements as set out by building regulations in Ireland.

Grant Aerona3 R32 10kW air to water air source heat pump

The combination of the manufacturer’s diverse and growing product portfolio with the specialist knowledge of the Grant technical team, provides the ultimate solution to help save time and hassle in designing, specifying, and supplying the full heating requirements for a property.

It is the careful and correct combination of Grant heating technologies, which can take a property’s heating system into a new class of efficiency and ultimately help lower carbon emissions and provide greater long-term savings for the property owner.

Popular heating technologies that may be specified as part of a new build project include the highly efficient A+++ Aerona³ R32 air to water air source heat pump, complemented with Grant’s domestic hot water cylinders, such as the A-rated pre-plumbed and pre-wired hot water cylinder.

Heat emitters and smart controls

Heat emitters and smart controls specified for the property may include the Grant Uflex underfloor heating system and the Afinia aluminium radiator range. These technologies are compatible with both high and low temperature systems, meaning both will work effectively with Grant’s Aerona³ R32 air to water air source heat pump range.

This year, Grant took a step further in maximising heating efficiencies with the launch of its newest heating controls system, the neoHub, which can be controlled remotely using the Grant neoApp.

Providing underfloor heating and radiator control, the slim and stylish neoStat’s within the neoHub system can be paired with the Grant Uflex underfloor heating system and the Grant Afinia radiator range to offer a property owner a highly efficient, smart heating system.

Installing this combination of heating technologies will enable property owners to avail of a sustainable, reliable and cost effective full home heating solution.

Grant’s free of charge heating design service is available for those working on a current or future new build project. Using house plans, the Grant technical specialists carry out room by room heat loss calculations in line with SR:50 requirements.

This information provides the heat load requirement for each room and helps to prove compliance with Part L of the building regulations and calculate heat pump output and hot water demands.

As part of the specification process the Grant technical specialists will also size the required radiators for the property and design the underfloor heating system. To begin the heating design process, send property plans, a contact number and preferred heat emitters to heatpump@grantengineering.ie
