Leading heating technology manufacturer Grant is expanding its training opportunities for engineers across Ireland with the unveiling of the Grant eLearning Academy this spring.
High-quality, accessible training
Renowned for its state-of-the-art training facility based at the company’s innovation centre in Birr, Co Offaly, the new eLearning Academy further demonstrates Grant’s commitment to providing high-quality, accessible training to those interested in learning more about the company’s innovative product portfolio.
The online based learning platform has been developed to ensure engineers, architects, plumbers, installers, BER assessors, specifiers, electricians, and builders can complete Grant product courses and develop their industry knowledge, without needing to travel to the on-site training academy.
Commenting on the launch of the new Grant eLearning Academy, Keith Scully, Grant Technical Sales and eLearning Academy trainer said, “We are very excited to announce the launch of our eLearning Academy this spring.
The eLearning Academy has been a work in progress for many years now and with government restrictions on travel during the last year, we have been eager to launch our eLearning facility and ensure that our training is accessible”.
“Our eLearning Academy will operate on its own dedicated platform, with each course and resource carefully developed to the highest standard. This ensures that we can provide our dedicated B2B network with all the necessary training to help educate on our innovative heating technologies and installation processes,” added Keith.
Allow engineers to structure their training
The Grant eLearning Academy features a range of training courses, which are categorised into on-demand and instructor led courses. These courses will vary in both form and content, allowing engineers to structure their training to suit their requirements.
Instructor-led courses will feature real-time tuition provided by one of Grant’s dedicated technical trainers, whereas on- demand courses will allow participants to work through the content at their own pace at a time that is right for them.
Not only will the eLearning Academy house many popular online training courses, it will also act as a resource for useful news articles and guides to help heating professionals further their learning beyond the virtual platform.
Grant’s eLearning Academy courses will explore different product installations, health and safety advice and CPD (Continued Professional Development) courses.
High interest is expected in the renewables training courses including the Grant Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump course, as the importance of incorporating renewable heating technologies within building projects as the focus on sustainability continues to grow and develop.
By registering to Grant’s eLearning Academy, participants will have access to both beginner and advanced Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump training, as well as all other Grant training courses and resources.
