Renowned for its forward-thinking approach to the research and development of innovative heating technologies, Grant’s continued focus on sustainability and decarbonisation is reflected in its diverse range of heating technologies, which are helping Irish properties become sustainable.
For more than four decades Grant’s heating solutions have helped to address the problem of rising energy costs and reduce carbon emissions, while contributing towards a greener future. Growing in popularity for new build and retrofit projects throughout Ireland is Grant’s air to water, air source heat pump range.
Adapt to changing heating needs
Grant’s A+++ Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump
The Grant Aerona3 heat pump range was first launched in 2010 and has developed immensely over the years since, to ensure the renewable technology helps properties adapt to changing heating needs, as required by building regulations.
Grant’s A+++ Aerona3 R32 air to water, air source heat pump range offers cleaner, more environmentally friendly performance and can also help a new build property achieve Part L compliance and meet NZEB building standards.
With an ErP rating of A+++ and a SCOP of up to 5.4:1, the Aerona3 is available in outputs of 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW. The 13kW and 17kW models have also been recognised for their quiet operation by the internationally acclaimed Quiet Mark.
Taking its dedication to renewables once step further, the company has recently announced that all new Grant Vortex condensing boilers can now run using biofuel known as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO).
Older Grant condensing boilers can also be adapted to HVO, this may require a new biofuel burner that is matched with the specific boiler. These modifications can be carried out by a service engineer during an annual service. The adaptability of the Vortex range to HVO will aid the move to a low carbon future, while still providing the reliability and efficiency that is synonymous with Grant.
Range of supporting technologies
In addition to main heat sources, Grant also provides a range of supporting technologies which includes pre-plumbed and integrated hot water cylinders and heat emitters including Uflex underfloor heating and Afinia aluminium radiators.
Grant’s Uflex underfloor heating system has quickly become the heat emitter of choice for those building new properties due to its high efficiency when paired with a Grant main heat source and smart controls. Grant Uflex is designed to work with both low and high temperature heating systems, making it an ideal pairing for either a Grant Aerona3 R32 heat pump or a Grant Vortex condensing boiler.
Grant’s full heat emitter range can be controlled using the manufacturer’s latest heating controls system – the Grant Uflex 230V Heatmiser Neo Stats. Making use of smart heating controls will further boost a properties overall efficiency levels.
All Grant’s heating technologies can be integrated together as part of the company’s Integrated Heating Packages for new builds.
