Now that the weather warnings have been lifted, the programme will pick up exactly where it left off and continue on throughout this month. The following free, open events will be going ahead: • NUI Galway’s Student-run Energy Summit will now be held on Thursday, March 8, at the Bailey Allen Hall at NUI Galway from 4pm. http://www.galwayenergysummit.ie/event-outline/ • Limerick for Engineering Showcase has now been deferred to Thursday, March 8, at 6pm at Shannon airport departures hall. http://www.limerickforengineering.ie/ • South-East Megadojo will now go ahead on Sunday, April 15, at the Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny. https://allevents.in/kilkenny/megadojo-southeast/2022205541401036 • DIT will now host its event, 'Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace for engineering & construction - lessons learned from other industries', on Tuesday, March 20, at DIT Bolton Street from 6–8pm. https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/creating-a-diverse-and-inclusive-workplace-for-engineering-construction-tickets-42633210079 Engineers Ireland said it was encouraging those who were unable to carry out their Engineers Week event in the latter half of last week to try to reschedule the event where possible in March. Once a new date has been arranged, organisers should let the STEPS team know so that the Engineers Week website can be updated and the event fully promoted.
