Training aim
Revit MEP Essentials online training will cover the user interface and the basic HVAC, electrical, and piping/plumbing components of Revit MEP.
Learning objectives
The course will provide learners with a solid grounding in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk’s Revit. Throughout the course, candidates will be shown how to set up a Revit project and create a 3D MEP Elements, complete with associated documentation. As part of the creation of the 3D model, you will be able to achieve a realistic MEP visualisation of the completed project.

Trainer's profile
Ger has worked for Symetri (formally Procad) since April 2017 as a Revit & AutoCADDesign Engineer and was promoted to Technical Specialist (AEC-BIM 360) in November 2019. Ger has achieved his Autodesk Certified professional badge for AutoCAD and Revit. His role is varied between completing detailed project work for customers, providing technical support in the vast software portfolio Symetri sells including Autodesk software and own technology, providing product demonstrations and training customers. He has been training our customers on the Revit MEP courses for 3 years on both public and customised private courses and always receives excellent feedback.
Course duration
10 hours broken into 5 days with a 2 hour session per day
Assessment & certification
Symetri is an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre. At the end of the course the candidates will receive their Autodesk Certificate of Completion. Candidates may proceed to the Inventor Advanced course. There is the option to go on to complete the Inventor Autodesk Certified User and/or the Inventor Autodesk Certified Professional Exams.
