From December 1, the annual maxon UK & Ireland Advent Calendar will open, giving engineers the daily chance to win a great prize plus entry into the Christmas Eve grand prize draw.
Each day until Christmas eve, maxon will give away a laptop backpack, and on Christmas Eve the grand prize draw will take place for a £100 Amazon Voucher.
Celebrating its third anniversary, the maxon Advent Calendar has become an essential tradition for engineers. Each day, from December 1 to December 24, engineers can open a corresponding Advent Calendar window where they can learn more about maxon’s precision drive system technology.
Information on maxon products, such as DC & BLDC motors, gears, and controllers, will be presented in an engaging way with videos and application stories.
Behind each window, engineers can enter the daily draw for a Swiss Peak AWARE™ 15.6″ laptop backpack worth more than £50.
The backpack features an anti-theft back opening, compartments for a laptop and tablet, RFID-safe pockets for a wallet and passport, and a hidden back pocket. Wearers can also connect a power bank to the integrated USB Type-C port to charge devices on the go.
The Peak AWARE™ backpack is also eco-friendly and comes with a tracer to verify the use of recycled materials, with each bag reusing 20.8 PET plastic bottles.
Participants can enter the Advent Calendar draw every day, and on Christmas Eve, the grand prize draw will take place for a £100 Amazon voucher. The more days participants enter, the greater their chances of success in the Christmas Eve draw.
“Now in its third year, maxon Uk & Ireland’s Advent Calendar is an established part of an engineer’s Christmas,” said maxon UK & Ireland marketing manager, Karen Whittaker.
“As well as giving the chance to win some great prizes, the Christmas giveaway is the opportunity to learn more about maxon’s drive systems and applications, whether that’s powering robotics or driving rover vehicles on Mars.”
