Trinity offers full-time (one year) and part-time (over two or three years) MSc courses in our range of civil-engineering specialisms. So it is possible to work full-time and do the course as a part-time option – in fact, about half of our students are registered as part-time students. The degree programme is divided into three parts: two semesters of taught courses with an average of 12 lectures per week and a major dissertation undertaken during the second half of the course. It offers excellent career prospects both in Ireland and abroad.

• MSc in Environmental Engineering
The MSc in Environmental Engineering provides education and training to those eager to pursue a career in the protection of the environment. It aims to develop students with a specialist understanding of the engineering challenges facing the environment today, and with specialist skills to address these.
The course explores the themes of water, air, noise and soil pollution and how we may develop solutions for these challenges to protect our environment and society. The course also incorporates the grand challenges facing environmental engineers including climate change, sustainability and renewable energy.
