The next PPMA 'Robotic Safety for Integrators' seminar will take place in Dublin at the Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport on March 15. As robots are usually supplied as partly completed machinery, this requires the integrator to be responsible for 'CE' marking of the cell. 'EN ISO 10218' is available in two parts. This seminar discusses some of the issues regarding the 'CE' marking of complex assemblies, and the requirements of the various standards. Areas covered include; hazard identification and risk reduction, safeguarding and safety requirements. You may not be aware that 'CE' Marking applies to all new machinery, new complex assemblies of machines (even if they are existing machines), machinery built for in-house use, interchangeable equipment and possibly modified machinery.  This seminar is aimed at integrators and end-users that are in the process of installing, or are already using, robot systems where you have to demonstrate compliance with the regulations. Venue: Carlton Hotel, Old Airport Road, Dublin Airport, Co Dublin. There is a courtesy coach from the airport to the hotel (which only takes five minutes).
