The National Life Sciences & Engineering Expo returns to the Mullingar Park Hotel again this year on from June 28-29.
This highly successful annual event brings together industry-leading speakers, more than 80 local and multinational exhibitors, hundreds of industry professionals, and offers unbeatable networking opportunities under one roof.
This innovation-focused event, designed to showcase Irish manufacturing excellence, offers attendees the opportunity to see cutting-edge technologies and products. It will be attended by professionals from a broad range of industries including medtech, biopharma, pharma, automation, aerospace, automotive and polymers.
Speakers at the event will include Julie Sinnamon, CEO Enterprise Ireland; Prof Fergal J O’Brien, chair of bioengineering and regenerative medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland; Barry Kennedy, CEO Irish Manufacturing Research; and John O’ Dea, global director of Esophageal Diseases at Medtronic.
Set in the sleek yet relaxed environment of the Mullingar Park Hotel, the emphasis of the event is on sharing ideas, expert collaboration, exploring innovation led growth opportunities, and establishing successful trading relationships.
The expo offers unbeatable networking opportunities with industry colleagues. This year's expo will see the addition of an expert speaker panel on Thursday, June 28, hosted in conjunction with Irish Manufacturing Research. The theme of the event will be exploring practical steps that companies can take to prepare for Brexit. MC for the evening will be Julie Byrne, head of external communications at Nokia Bell Labs Ireland.
The panel of industry-leading guest speakers on the evening will be:

The Local Enterprise Offices of Westmeath, Longford, Offaly, and Laois will have a dedicated zone at the expo this year within which they will showcase the Engenuity Cluster
. It includes 14 companies from the Engenuity Midlands Innovation Programme
who
will exhibit their respective engineering companies as they continue to grow their products and services.
The Engenuity Programme is an integral part of the structured effort to promote market-led innovation, stakeholder collaboration, best practice transfer and product and trade development among the Midlands Engineering Cluster -
