The new Grant Aerona R290 heat pump range features five models in outputs from 4kW to 16kW and is currently the only heat pump range to offer this diversity, meaning it can provide heating solutions to a wider range of properties, from apartments to detached homes.
The range also enables easier upgrades for extensions or increased heating demand in the future.

This latest addition to the Grant product portfolio, further demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability and marks over 15 years of Grant operating in the heat pump industry.
Impressively low Global Warming Potential
The range uses the environmentally friendly natural refrigerant R290, which has an impressively low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just three compared to other refrigerants traditionally used in heat pumps.
Grant understands the importance of creating heating technologies that are as efficient to install as they are for homeowners to operate. That is why the Aerona R290 heat pump is designed with straightforward installation and additional control systems to streamline the process for heating engineers.
To further reduce installation complexity, the Grant Aerona R290 heat pumps come with built-in components such as an automatic air vent, pressure relief valve and a PWM circulating pump, which maintains the optimal differential between the flow and return. These pre-integrated elements help installers complete installations with greater ease, saving time and effort on-site.
Designed in Ireland to meet the specific high humidity & moisture demands of the Irish and UK climates, the next generation Grant Aerona R290 stood out at a recent industry awards ceremony, where it was recognised for ‘Outstanding Innovation’ and described by the judges as ‘redefining heating innovation and sustainability’.
