KUP have also announced their next free, full day UPS Training Academy which is taking place in Dublin from 9.30-4.30pm on October 15. The one-day training session will focus on the basics of UPS systems and key considerations when operating in critical power settings.

The course programme covers a basic history of UPS systems and considerations for choosing a UPS system. It also highlights battery systems, looking at design life and sizing, as well as focused sessions on Neutral Earth reference points and the use of transformers in circuits.
