The 46th European Transport Conference (ETC) is the annual Conference of the Association for European Transport (AET). This year, we move to the exciting new venue of Dublin Castle. Please join us there from October 10-12.

Delegates are now invited to book their place at the European Transport Conference to benefit from an Early Booking Discount. The Early Booking Discount applies to delegates booking three-day attendance only, with payment received by 29 June 2018:

Organisation Member: £690 €820
Non-Member: £850 €995
*Prices exclusive of VAT.
In addition, a 50 per cent discount on booking fees is applicable to attendees from the newer European Union member states (joined since 2004) and for young professionals under the age of 26 or with less than five years’ professional experience.

Each year the conference presents the opportunity to interact with a range of speakers across the transport industry. For those involved in transport planning, research and practice, the European Transport Conference is the event to find in-depth presentations on policy issues, best practice and research findings across a broad spectrum of transport modes.
This year's programme already includes a fully booked compact exhibition plus a series of technical visits, arranged exclusively for ETC delegates. Our local friends, ITS Ireland, will be hosting the pre-conference 'Icebreaker Drinks' on October 9, which is open to all delegates arriving the night before the conference.
On Wednesday evening, the prestigious civic reception will be presented by sponsors Dublin City Council, at City Hall. The Thursday gala dinner will be offered at the historic Trinity College Dublin Dining Hall. This year, both these events have a 200-delegate maximum capacity, and tickets will be issued in advance.
