Course outline
This course examines the key aspects of consultancy contracts. These contracts have been designed to place a huge onus on the design consultants at design stage and those entering into these contracts need to be aware of the rights of the Client for set off, payment for consequential damages, reduction in the Fee due to under/over budget estimation, and the “at will” powers of the Client in regard to payment and termination provisions.
