Training aim
To update consulting engineers on the relevant IT topics which will impact on the ICT infrastructure being specified within buildings.
Learning objectives
To give the engineers relevant and up to date information in the areas of WiFi, DAS, POE, copper & fibre cabling & smart building infrastructure.
Course outline
The course will identify areas of development within the ICT infrastructure that will directly affect the design of the building fabric (Cat6 versus Cat6a) and also debate some areas where there may be common myths. (Wired versus wireless) It will also cover areas where there are emerging trends in ICT in relation to Building Services Networks.
Trainer's profile
Darren Walsh is a BISCI RCDD & CDCD accreditation holder, and has been in the ICT industry for over 20 years. With lots of experience in the design of ICT networks, Darren has recently been ionvolved in the areas of Smart Building technology and future trends.
