The Local Authority Services National Training Group (LASNTG) has the role of overseeing and managing on behalf of the 34 Local Authorities nationally, the provision of quality training to staff in the areas of roads, water and environment through a series of 4 National Committees and 5 Regional Training Centres based in Roscrea Co. Tipperary, Ballincollig Co. Cork, Ballycoolin, Co. Dublin, Castlebar Co. Mayo and Stranorlar Co. Donegal.

Provide quality training for the more efficient delivery of services.
Learning objectives
The objective of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the role of the Resident Engineer on Traditional Contracts and the Employers Representative assistant on DB / DBO Contracts.On completion of the course, participants will be aware of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to function effectively in their role as supervisors engaged in Water Services Projects.

Trainer's profile
Jerry Cronin - is a Chartered Engineer and a Director of Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd. Jerry graduated as a Civil Engineer from University College Cork in 1977 and has over 30 years experience in the Design and Project Management of a wide range of Water and Environmental Projects throughout Ireland. Neil Delaney is an Associate Director with over 18 years experience in environmental engineering projects, primarily gained in the water services.
