Turner & Townsend is an independent professional services company specialising in Programme Management, Project Management, Cost and Commercial management and advisory across the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Our extensive experience enables us to provide a proactive, value added service to all facets of the above sectors.  Projects range from multiple complex small projects, through to large, new build projects; each commission has its own unique challenges and requires sector expertise, thus providing individuals with the opportunity of developing your knowledge, experience and skills.

Due to continued expansion within our Irish Real Estate and Infrastructure portfolio, we are currently looking to recruit a number of Cost Managers (QS), Project Managers, Project Planners and Project Control Managers. 

We are looking to recruit candidates with varying levels of experience in both the infrastructure (civil engineering) and commercial development/fit-out sectors.

Cost Managers (Quantity Surveyors)

  • You will be familiar and have experience of both pre and post contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, post contract cost control, contract administration, value management /engineering, risk management and final accounts. 
  • Typically, a qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience or previous proven experience in a Cost Management environment.  Experience in the NEC form of Contract is preferred and you should be working towards your RICS or SCSI Chartership.

Project Managers

  • You will be professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, or architecture, have a thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review. 
  • You should have design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment, ideally infrastructure (water/rail/roads), residential, office, fit-outs and health & education

Planners/Project Control Managers

  • You will be expected to be numerate and computer literate, highly competent in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and utilising reporting databases. You will also be familiar with financial/procurement systems such as Oracle and SAP and web-based project control tools.
  • Thorough understanding of P6 /MSP/ equivalent schedule development and administration, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, and reporting
