A free evening presentaiton by Dr Annette Kent who will discuss trasitioning from pharma to medical devices.

About the speaker

Dr. Annette Kent BSc PhD is currently the Clinical Director with FIRE1, a medical device start up headquartered in Dublin. FIRE1 is focused on developing a novel connected health solutions dedicated to improving outcomes for people suffering with chronic disease. As Clinical Director, Annette is responsible for the development and implementation of the FIRE1 clinical programme, working very closely with key stakeholders, clinicians, advisors and trial sites. Prior to FIRE1, Annette completed the BioInnovate Fellowship in University College Galway which combined with many years of experience in various sections of the pharmaceutical industry (including clinical research, wholesaling/distribution and medical affairs) allowed to transition smoothly and bring a unique skill set to the medical device industry.
