This presentation will explore what skills the modern leader needs in their role as the Engineering Sector scales for growth, change and innovation.

The lecture will be followed by a 30-minute guided tour of the recently refurbished Cork Savings Bank at 1 Lapps Quay which is now home to the IMI and UCC's Centre for Executive Education.

About the speaker

Jack Golden, BE MEngSc PhD CEng FIEI FIAE (International Business Leadership)
Jack held senior leadership roles with Braun AG in Ireland and Germany, Semperit in Dublin and Continental Tyres in France. As Group HR Director of CRH Plc, where he spent 17 years, his primary focus was on Talent Management and developing the next generation of leaders for the organisation. A former President of Engineers Ireland and The Irish Academy of Engineering, he contributes to programmes in Leadership and Organisational Development for the IMI and many industry organisations.
