About the event

Traditionally the Energy Sector had two main aims: the first to produce energy and the second to keep the lights on. However, today many challenges are reshaping the sector: rising generation costs coupled with decarbonisation and changes in load patterns. This is also coupled with advances in digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, GIS, Internet of Things and the cloud. In this presentation Jennifer Jennings will discuss some of the drivers and challenges to the Energy Sector and the benefits of Data Analytics.
