About the event

The design of a confined space can greatly impact on the health and safety of those who must later work within it.  This presentation shares experiences of such work in the wastewater industry but will be of interest to engineers and managers in a broad range of industries by providing real life examples of how application of the principles of prevention at design stage can reduce the types of risks now faced by the personnel tasked with operating these assets, making their maintenance safer and more efficient.
