About the event

This informative briefing event will briefly re-cap on the construction products regulation and requirements placed on manufacturers and importers with regard to standards and CE marking of building products. The correct application of European standards, requirements for issuing manufacturer declarations of performance and the requirement for third party certification will also be reviewed. In addition the briefing will also address current queries around the impact of Brexit on the construction products regulation and the status of UK notified bodies (certification) post Brexit.

About the speaker

Keith Goodwin currently heads the Technical Division of Kilsaran International, Irelands leading independent producer of heavy building materials. His remit in this role includes oversight of all quality assurance across all product types, product technical and specification advice and guidance as well as management of standards and certification for all group operations. Keith has also worked as an external auditor in the UK for a notified certification body which specialises in certification of product and management systems in the construction products industry.
