Course outline

The couse takes a structured approach to the creation of a lighting controls solution. Starting with the application it works through hardware choices of sensors, keypads and hardware components. All types of control protocols are considered - with special emphasis on DALI as the dominant choice. The course then looks at building up networks and concludes with some consideration of head end software packages  and a roadmap of the future. 

Trainer's Profile

David Catteral

David has over 35 years experience in the architectural  theatrical and  lighting controls business working on diverse projects such as 7 star hotels, hospitals and large rock and roll events.

David continues to work as European Sales and Marketing Director for Eaton Lighting Systems. He presents frequently to lighting designers and consultancies giving training on the use of lighting controls systems across multiple applications.
