About the event

This event is kindly sponsored by RPS.

On any project change is a given. However, approaches to the management of change vary significantly across industries, organisations, disciplines and projects. Change is often resisted or ignored and it frequently develops into conflict, despite the acknowledgment in project management methodologies that change management is a key part of project management. On the other hand, in the construction industry, change is a normal way of doing business.

In this talk, Karen Fenton, Programme Manager with RPS, explores the different attitudes to the management of project changes, the challenges associated with change and some methods for developing robust change management approaches. The session will be interactive and will include case studies and attendees will have an opportunity to share their own stories of change.
