About the speaker:
Jim Gannon Chartered Engineer
Jim Gannon is an Associate within the energy section of RPS Group and has worked on a range of energy and infrastructure projects over the past 10 years from policy development through to project delivery. He has specialised in the areas of project and risk management, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with the PMI and has delivered Risk Management training courses on behalf of the Irish Wind Energy Association. He is currently project managing the delivery of a 50MW wind farm for Coillte and is Risk Manager for the Grid Link Project being developed by EirGrid.
About the event:
The session will briefly introduce the concept of Risk Management and then proceed to discuss the practical use and implications of using risk management methodologies on infrastructure projects. The focus will be on integration with generic project delivery activities and the value that risk management can bring to the table.
