Young Geotechnical Engineers Presentations
About the event
The 5th International Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference (iYGEC) will be held in Paris on 31st August and 1st September 2013, immediately before the 18th International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE, http://www.issmge2013.org on 2nd-5th September 2013). A young geotechnical engineer is defined as one who is 35 or younger on 31st December 2013.
A panel comprising members of the Geotechnical Society of Ireland will invite 5 engineers to deliver a 10 minute presentation at Clyde Road on the afternoon of Friday 23rd November. Up to two delegates will be chosen from this qualifying competition to represent Ireland in Paris. The Geotechnical Society of Ireland will cover the cost of flights, accommodation and conference fee for the delegates chosen.
