About the event

RUSAL Aughinish, situated on a 1,300 acre site on the Shannon Estuary, is one of the leading industrial plants in Ireland. It is the largest Alumina Refinery in Europe, producing approximately 2 million tons of product per annum that is the primary raw material for the production of aluminium.  The company also has a 150MW Combined Heat & Power Plant and a deep-water terminal on the Shannon Estuary.  RUSAL Aughinish has a history of continuous improvement and innovation and is now considered to be a world leader in the industry as it is one of the most technologically advanced and energy-efficient alumina facilities globally.

The site visit will consist of:

1.    Presentation:  Engineering Management overview
2.    Q & A following presentation
3.    Bus Site Tour
4.    Lunch
5.    Walking visit to the Central Maintenance Workshop

Note: Visitors will need ro provide their own PPE (safety shoes/boots and hi-vis) for the Workshop tour.
