About the event

The evening starts at 6.00pm with the AGM where members will hear the Chairman's review of the year, the new committee will be elected and plans for the coming year will be discussed.  This will be followed immediately at 7.15pm with President Peter Quinn's Presidential Address "A Blueprint for Housing - Plans for Growth".

In his address, Peter discusses the current housing crisis in Ireland, focusing on the principal contributing factors, the key stakeholders and the role that engineers can play in alleviating the problem.  Geographic factors, infrastructure requirements and predicted population growth will also be explored in this most topical of presentations.

The Address will be followed by our annual conferring of registered professional titles on members of the Thomond region who were successful in achieving these prestigious titles during the course of the year.

The evening will conclude with a reception where members can meet the President and network with colleagues.
