About the event

This event is all about celebrating the Engineers who come from around the world to settle in Limerick and surrounding counties to make an impact in Ireland. Specifically, it will focus on introducing international engineers to Engineers Ireland's membership benefits, and on "engineering your career" while in Ireland, providing information on:

  • networking your way into getting your ideal job as a Global Engineer
  • the soft skills for changing jobs - focusing in on LinkedIn
  • CVs and interview skills

It will be delivered with the context of the challenges and strategies that can be employed in the current Irish jobs market.

Following the presentations, there will be a networking time for Global Engineers who wish to meet with those who are recruiting for Engineering roles.

Please feel free to bring along your engineering degree transcripts if you wish to join Engineers Ireland and/or your CV, as engineering companies will be in attendance at the event.
