About the event

Our four Irish Water speakers will discuss the provision of a safe and secure drinking water supply and cover:

• Irish Water's Water Treatment Strategy and the “Drinking Water Safety Plan” approach in implementing this strategy
• Incident management and how the Irish Water Treatment Strategy aligns to provide evidence based data on water treatment plant performance to manage incidents. A number of case studies will be presented.
• The role of communications in incident management and how Irish Water communicates with consumers, customers, stakeholders and vulnerable customers when an incident occurs.  Again, case studies will be presented and referenced.
