About the event

Anthony Fernihough will present an overview of water management employed on Transport for London's structures.  He will discuss the requirements of BS8102:2009, how and why TfL's Standards dictate waterproofing requirements while giving examples of lessons learned and issues experienced within the £3.1bn annual London Underground Investment Programme.

About the speaker

Anthony Fernihough - Chartered Engineer (CIWEM) and Head of Profession for Pumps and Drainage with Transport for London
Anthony is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 22 years' experience in the water, nuclear and rail sectors, giving him a broad perspective on engineering issues.  In his present role with TfL, he manages a team of engineers, providing design and assurance of civil engineering works.
