About the event

Paul Hulme from Watson Steel will give a talk on the fabrication of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, designed by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond.  It is one of the most iconic structures in the London Olympic Park and indeed the largest piece of public art in Britain.  Watson Steel Structures provided the connection design and fabrication of the 1,470 tonnes of structural steelwork utilised in this project.
