About the event

This seminar is for engineers currently in management roles or planning for future management roles, with budgetary and spending responsibilities. It will cover common accounting principles and terminology, how to read profit and loss statements, reading variances and understanding and using a balance-sheet.

Please note, project-accounting and taxation will not be covered. The seminar will be presented by Diarmaid Cowhie, an electrical engineer, Chartered Accountant and former treasurer of the GB region.

Attendance is open to members of Engineers Ireland GB region who, once registered will be contacted before the course for additional information

Admission

This seminar is limited to eight participants and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  The cost, £80, is payable by December 14th and should be made by bank transfer to Engineers Ireland's GB region.  Coursework and lunch will be provided.
