Danone Macroom Infant Nutritional Facility
About the event
Danone have recently constructed and commissioned a €52m expansion to its manufacturing facility in Macroom. The factory is now the largest and most technologically advanced manufacturing centre in Danone Baby Nutrition's Global network. The creation of a new drying line at the facility has resulted in a trebling of capacity to 100,000 tonnes annually. 98% of the output from Macroom will be exported.
This presentation will review the major aspects of the project through design, construction and start-up as well as the significance of the investment within the Danone Group.
This is a joint Agriculture and Food Engineering division and Cork region event.
