Site visit to the Tyndall National Institute, UCC
About the event
This is a social event to provide the engineers of the Cork Region with a networking opportunity. The Tyndall National Institute is one of Europe’s leading centres for Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) research and development. This tour shall provide an overview of Tyndall’s research capabilities, with an emphasis on where and how science meets engineering. A short presentation on the application of ICT research to sports science shall also be included.

Meeting point for the tour is the foyer of the Tyndall National Institute (entrance located on Mardyke Walk - next to Presentation Brothers College Secondary School) from 6.15 with the tour commencing at 6.30 sharp.
Parking is very limited in the area with pay and display in operation until 8.30pm
Tea and coffee will be available after the tour
