An Ríocht's first event of 2017 gives an historical perspective of railways in Kerry including

• how the railways came to Kerry
• how they were financed
• the companies involved
• the rail lines in Kerry - commercial and industrial
• historical film of railway operations

This will be of interest to a broad range of people so is not confined to members of Engineers Ireland.  All are welcome!
