About the event

A free one day training course for Irish stakeholders where new developments in ground source heat pump systems will be explored by our two presenters - Riccardo Pasquali and Nick O'Neill from SLR.

The idea behind the EC funded Cheap-GSHPs project is to substantially reduce the total cost of ownership, investment and operating costs for building owners, increase the safety of shallow geothermal systems during installation and operation and increase the awareness of this technology throughout Europe.

Course outline:

  • ground source heat exchanger suitability for Ireland
  • helicoidal GSHE and drilling machine developments
  • coaxial GSGHE and installation machine developments
  • software and modelling tools
  • environmental impact, risk assessment, standards and regulations

Our presenters:

Riccardo Pasquali and Nick O'Neill

Admission is free and all are welcome.  Places are however limited and must be booked in advance, giving your full contact details, by email to Nick O'Neill
