Overview

The Irish Engineering Oral History Project is sponsored by, and in association with, the Irish Academy of Engineering (IAE), Engineers Ireland and the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland (ACEI). Members of these three organisations include, for example, current and former Chairpersons / Presidents of the organisations, CEOs, MDs, ex-County Engineers and current and emeritus professors of engineering in Ireland. Collectively, their memories of the development of Irish engineering represent a valuable record of the planning, designing and evaluating of Ireland’s infrastructure and the built environment.
