This technical presentation will cover the design of smoke control systems for high rise residential and commercial buildings, highlighting the main issues that can occur during the implementation, including the most common mistakes found during maintenance.

About the speaker

Conor Logan - Technical Director with Colt International Ltd
Conor is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Building Service engineers.  He has 25 years' experience in the UK and Far East in the design and application of smoke control and related fire engineering systems and strategies, climate control systems in buildings and solar shading and louvre systems.  He has had input into various standards and is currently sitting on BSI Committees for Fire Safety, Fire Engineering and Smoke Control along with a number of European Standards Committees.
