About the event

Grid25 is EirGrid’s strategy for the development of Ireland’s transmission grid for a sustainable and competitive future. This strategy will support economic growth and job creation, provide a reliable supply of electricity for all consumers, provide the infrastructure to enable Ireland to realise its renewable potential and achieve the challenging 2020 target of having 40% of our electricity generated from renewable source.

Aidan and Louis will outline the development of the strategy and progress achieved to date outlining the ongoing Transmission Network Planning (TNP) processes that underpin the strategy and how TNP and the Grid25 strategy and implementation plan interact with one another in project selection.

This is a joint event with the Energy Institute
